1st Arrondissement
YUJ Yoga
68 rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau, 75001 Paris
Head to a heated yoga class in a dark room, highlighted with string lights for a subtle ambiance. Featuring more modern yoga approaches, the classes here are quite cardio centered. If you are not a fan of the heat, avoid the heaters, as the rooms heat very quickly.
FaceStellar
46 rue de Richelieu, 75001 Paris
Travel into the future when you visit FaceStellar, with their space-like decor and iridescent color scheme; you will certainly be transported to space. With a menu of facial options and specialty add-ons (turmeric bone broth & buccal massage) your hour-long (or less) session will fly by. They also work with shorter sessions that are meant to be repeated in cycles of 5 for best results. A great option for locals, but a nice quick in-and-out facial option for tourists.Β
2nd Arrondissement
Dynamo
14 rue Saint-Augustin, 75002 Paris
This is the French equivalent to SoulCycle. Dynamo classes are held in dark rooms, with ceiling lights that go on and off like strobe lights, according to the music. Music is blasted and your only goal in the class is to keep up with the beat. You can count on super fun playlists made up for R&B, hip-hip, electronic, and everything in between. Towels and shoes are provided, so just show up with your water bottle!
EPISOD
115 rue RΓ©aumur, 75002 Paris
Episod’s Hubs are innovative and motivating. There are 7 classes all designed to create a complete and effective workout routine: bootcamp, boxing, athletic, yoga, cycling, recovery and rowing. The studios are dark with neon lights, so that we focus only on our effort and not on our neighbor. Lively music plays an essential role in the EPISOD concept. The playlists have been chosen with care to always motivate and push us in our effort. The locker rooms are spacious with towels and hygiene products, ideal for a workout before the work day.
Aqua By
82 rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, 75003 Paris
Aqua By is a center that offers water sports classes, particularly aquabiking. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and the coaches are attentive to all participants. The 45 minute session is intense, but the effort is rewarded with access to the Sauna or Hammam at the end of the session for ultimate relaxation and to leave refreshed.Β
Chez Simone
226 rue Saint-Denis, 75002 Paris
At Simone’s, you feel like you’re at home. In fact, it’s an apartment, not a gym. This 100% feminine place offers a lunch space with a stove, a store to buy designer sportswear, a place to exchange around comfortable sofas, and above allβ yoga pilates or boxing classes in their studio to take care of yourself and your body.Β
Seasonly
2 rue de la Lune, 75002 Paris
Seasonly is the expert in express careβdone in 30min! I loved the glow treatment, which I was able to use in the middle of a very busy day. I came out soothed and feeling relaxed. At the end of the session, the facialist takes us to a room where we can reapply our makeup if needed, for an extra special touch.Β Β
OβKari
22 rue Dussoubs, 75002 Paris
O’Kari is a spa inspired by the Hammam of North Africa. I tested the discovery offer which lasts 1h30 for 100β¬. This package offers a steam bath with eucalyptus for 30 minutes, then a masseuse comes to perform an exfoliation with black soap, scrubbing the whole body with a vegetable silk glove, followed by a soaping with Aleppo soap. The session ends with a 10-minute massage of the skull and upper back. If you wish, you can enjoy a final moment of relaxation in the whirlpool. What I particularly like is that the spa can be privatized starting with 8 people. Make an afternoon wellness trip with your girlfriends!Β
3rd Arrondissement
SuisenΒ
7 rue de Thorigny, 75003 Paris
When I pushed the door of the Suisen house, I was immediately carried away in the atmosphere of a ryokanβ a typical Japanese inn where everything is an invitation to relax: from the cup of organic green tea to the shiatsu massages. The massage lasts at least 1 hour to offer a moment of relaxation that will transport you to Japan.
4th Arrondissement
Yoga Bikram Paris
13 rue Simon Le Franc, 75004 Paris
Traditional Bikram yoga can be found here, taught in a modest, open room. Changing room showers go quickly after class, so plan accordingly. They offer towels and water for a fee, so come prepared unless youβre willing to pay a few extra euros.Β
5th Arrondissement
Grande MosquΓ©e de Paris
2bis Place du Puits de lβErmite, 75005 Paris
Sitting in the traditional hammam at Le Grand MosquΓ©e of Paris is one of my most favorite activities to do. Treat yourself to an afternoon (or day!) at the spa, with an Γ‘ la carte menu that allows you to fully customize your day. You can add on massages, body scrubs with a glove, hair treatments, waxings, or mint tea. Trust me, it’s hard to only spend a couple hours in this oriental oasis.Β

8th Arrondissement
Myalinda
13 rue de Berne, 75008 Paris
This is the place to go for Maderotherapy! Using innovative accessories made from wood, maderotherapy is the way to loose cellulite and tighten your body for a sculpted look. You can choose which region of the body to work on, thighs, stomach, back, arms, etc. One zone lasts approximately 30 minutes. The girls here are just the best and I always look forward to my weekly appointment.Β
Biologique Recherche
32 avenue des Champs-ElysΓ©es, 75008 Paris
In my opinion, BR proposed the most comprehensive, customized facial at the most competitive price. A 90-minute bespoke facial will cost you around 180 euros (whereas services via hotels will be 3x the price). While you are there, make sure to get an introduction to their holy-grail product, lotion P50 (P50W for sensitive skin). Their salon is tucked away in a courtyard off of Champs-ElysΓ©e, so perfectly located, with a very calming interior. It is always a pleasure to spend time at Biologique Recherche.

We lose the notion of time and are immersed in an intense sensation of relaxation and well-being that rebalances the energy pathways. A unique experience to try!
